You may well have paid the official store list price, although the cards can be had at AR$ 10-15 elsewhere.

Actually I didn't and I tried to ask for it but the guy didn't get what a "receipt" was, nor did he understand what a "receipto" was.

Anyway, like others have pointed out, he charged me the correct price. I just wanted to make sure, that's all. Funny how people get all jumpy when they perceive you are making a big deal out of something tiny.

By the way, John, you do realize that that sentence you're quoting from me starts with an 'If', don't you?

I am not the slightest jumpy about it, but advise you to always get a receipt. I learned some years ago, that the moment you ask for 'un recibo' distorted memories suddenly remember the proper price.
