Starting a business in CABA

That may be correct- CDI vs Cuit- I am not in Argentina right now, and all my paperwork is there.
But- A CDI is still adequate to rent or buy property, and it is still available to expats.
So the utility, in terms of renting a cafe spot, is the same.

My basic point is that many many expats do indeed start businesses, rent spaces, and make it work.
In Argentina, there are always workarounds, and many ways of doing things.
No, I would not recommend "investing" ten million dollars on a student visa.
But bootstrapping a small business is done all the time by very poor expats with very little paperwork.
My neighborhood is full of small businesses run by expats.

I want to open a small bar for food and drink. That definitely interests me. Something that can be operated without having a million employees. the advice you have given is valuable.

I know a person who can give you a hand. Her name is Karina, I am not sure how to send you a DM but if you send me DM I could send you her contact. I also worked in the Hostel industry in Buenos Aires for a couple of years I could give you a hand with anything you need as well.
