That name I recognize from all of the bills in the apartment. Both of them used aliases. Valeria was Veronica. And the Mom was Maria Eugenia or something...

She is an attorney !!

Now that's quite funny, it's quite against the ethics of lawyers, in any country, to scam people!

she looks pretty cute in that photo, I would promise a $200 deposit for a night with her, but then leave without paying as a protest against her scamming ways

Bailey, Veronica/Valeria's cell number? You still have it? Last four digits = 4957 ?

The reason I ask is because I've never seen her. I just spoke with her on the phone. I speak Spanish fluently, so I never had to deal with Veronica/Valeria. I only dealt with her Mom, or the older lady, whoever she is.

Holy Hell - what a scam. You may want to report her to craigslist as well.

Sadly, I'm willing to bet the deposit was spent long ago & trying to get it back would be like getting blood from a stone.

But she should be reported to AFIP, Colegio de los Abogados and hey, if you have a contract and you want a reason to come back, come down here & file a court case.

True she's cute :D

Hold on : She has been doing all that in 9 years :

FLORENCIA MARINA DAUD attended University of Buenos Aires where she qualified as a lawyer, with Honors, in 2001. Following Law School she worked for a major Law Firm in Argentina, and then moved to Europe to acquire international experience. She pursued a graduate degree at the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE) and obtained an LLM from the University of London. She attended numerous courses in International Law at the School of European Law (ERA) in Brussels, Belgium and combined her law background with practical experience at the Court of Justice of the European Communities in Luxembourg and The Law Society of England and Wales in London.
Additionally she represented clients and counseled in New York, US, gaining valuable experience and insight in International Law. She has conducted research and made publications in the fields of International Business Law and International Relations. Mrs. Daud is a member of the Bar of the City of Buenos Aires since 2001.

??

Something is or went wrong !

Is she really a lawyer or is this just another scam?

I like how she:

specializes in assisting foreigners, specially those with legal matters in Argentina.
Being fluent in Spanish, English, French and Italian and having studied and worked for ten years in Europe and the US enables her to perfectly understand her international clients culture and background.

Maybe you can contract her to file a case against herself.
