Steve Jobs - RIP

"You have to trust in something: your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life."
Steve Jobs
RIP to a visionary.
And I don't own a single Apple product but I have always admired Steve and his vision for "The rest of us". 1984 produced and directed by another creative genius Lee Clow.

A TRUE PIONEER and GREAT MIND!!

We're all headed that way eventually and it goes to show that we need to make every day count. He certainly lived by that motto...

Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits.
The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.

They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them,
disbelieve them, glorify them or vilify them.
About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.

Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that's never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?

We make tools for these kinds of people.
Because while some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

And it's the people who are crazy enough to think they can
change the world who actually do.

Thanks Lee

Amazing the impact he made. I opened my facebook and saw so many messages about his death and how saddened people were. He touched a lot lof people's lives with his technology. Right now, I'm writing this on my macbook while my ipod is playing next to me.

He truly was a visionary and one of a kind.

Godspeed Mr. Jobs

He was indeed a legend and achieved an almost God like status amongst his followers.
I have never been an Apple user, apart from my recently acquired iPhone and always considered Mac users as beardy, cardigan wearing geeks lol.
But look what he achieved since coming back to Apple in 97. The presence of mind to bring niche products into the mainstream market and therefore creating that 'must have' aura about them.
A fascinating man and I too was shocked to hear of his death.

In an era of corporate blandness and anonimity it is a blessing we witnessed the works of a new Henry Ford.

I am a Android fanboi I admit it but I also admit I wouldn't be one without the innovation Steve brought into the industry.

I enjoy my dose of techno porn everytime I take out my sisters iphone 4 out of its case.

Amazing how stupid we are and how easy it is to con us.
S. Jobs made us believe he was doing something for us while he and his company got richer and richer. He sold to millions cheap hardware (remember most of the components were/are being produced in China, where employees get pennies for their slave work) for a whole lot of money...and made us believe we can not live without it.
There are TRUELY great people who dedicated their lives to help others - WITHOUT TAKING ANYTHING FROM THEM, like the late Wangari Mathai, yet no post appeared here when she died.

Dime quienes son tus ídolos y te diré como eres.
