Has anyone seen strawberries anywhere? I know they are out of season but someplace has GOT to have some. So far I've only checked out fruit stands and Carrefour.

Try Coto, I was in one and they had some. Also watch out for street vendors, sometimes they have the sweetest ones. Strawberries are sorta in season, a place outside of BsAs was selling them chocolate covered (fondue style - dipped).

"frutilla"

PS- They're kind of out of season, but you can find mushy ones here and there. Remember, you're not living in SoCal.

I saw some today that didn't look so bad. I was even tempted.
They were at a very small verdureria on Scalabrini Ortiz, somewhere between Cordoba & Gascon, on the left if Cordoba is behind you.

Frutilla! gracias.

Where is Coto?

Correction: "Where is a Coto?"

Coto is a chain. There are tons of them. Look them up on the Google. (You'll find the Google on the Internets.)

strawberries usually ripen in middle to late spring. of course s am has lots of climates so where the fruit comes from depends on when it ripens.

Oh, I also remember that Jumbo has frozen strawberries if that will help you.
