Just a quick recommendation for a cute student residence located in Palermo. It is run by a lovely lady called Elda who was my host mum the first time I was in BA. She is great and an incredible cook and is now running a small residencia which is like a mix between homestay and student residence. There is space for 18 students and she provides meals and helps the students settle into life in BA.
