Best thing about Argentina is since Indec lies about inflation, you can just make up whatever satistics you need to prove your point. Sure makes political commentary that much easier.

btw: shouldn't they publish a new inflation index in February? I remember to have read that Argentina needs to change their current approach as the IMF doesn't accept any official figures for obv. reasons and if they want to have a chance to get foreign money, they need to come clean on the inflation figures.

You just cant deny the existance of Paritarias. Increase wage by 25% every year. Almost every Union has them.
Thats about 75% of the market job. The rest, 25%, is covered supposedly by social plans.

Without picking random figures from the air and speaking to friends it seems the average is between 10% - 25%. Larger multi-national companies on the low side, when it comes to employees with Unions they said often it will be for example 15-17% and then an extra 3% in 5 months and then 2% in 9 months etc.

I know examples of 25% in US multi.nationals...
