Temporary car import from Chile?

Let's assume for a second that covid is over, and the land border between Argentina and Chile is open just like it was in 2019.

Let's also assume that I live in Chile and have a car that's registered and insured in Chile.

Can I come on a day trip in my car to Argentina? Is there any paperwork to do in order to drive the car in Argentina?

Once you meet all Chilean and Argentinian customs and immigrations regulations at the border and you enter Argentina you are free to drive throughout Argentina for six months under the Mercosur Agreements.

Assuming the car is registered to your name, have valid ID, drivers license, insurance and car registration papers, DTV,
Now if you have a passport and a drivers license from other countries .. must ask..!

It's a temporary Permit for tourists driving in the Mercosur Area . Not an import.
