You are guilty unless can prove innocence in the eyes of AFIP. But they charge you based on a formula, and in the long run of things, it may be the least of your worries...,but yes if it's a second apartment or you have friends staying when you're gone they will look at your passport and utility bills and assume your friends were renters. Not much that can be done about that in those situations. Another thing to love about Argentina!

Actually, you are just guilty.

The only exceptions are the ones I posted earlier. AFIP uses two valuations from licensed brokers to figure rental tax base.

I am so happy that I sold all of that crap and reinvested it in a country that doesn't beat you death for risk that you take and the income that you earn.
