Temporary Residence Renewal

Don't waste your time or money with Celano. His assistant Lucia Gauna neither replied to me nor to my Norwegian friend when we inquired about their services. All she does is enter the same data into Radex that you can do. Probably most people here can recommend an official translator who can have your documents translated and legalized, and which are then available digitally. If you need a translator who will legalize the documents, send me a DM. I paid 131,000 pesos for two translations and legalizations of federal income benefits letters. That cost included the courier.

Migraciones has significantly improved the Argetntine visa(s) program online. Unless you have some type of extenuating circumstance such as a criminal record or repeated immigration violations, you can do it yourself through their Radex website. Yes, the process used to be grueling, but not now. It's all online except for the one required trip to their office on Antártida for physical document review and fingerprints. I am headed there in an hour. Good luck.
Update: just returned from Migraciones. It was as easy as pie. The lady thoroughly verified my paper documents, took both my photo and fingerprints, and then said that my DNI would arrive by the end of the month. When I told her that I did not see any of the notorious employees from the past who used to make life miserable, she said that there had been "personnel changes". She was pleasant and she was professional; as was the employee in the adjoining booth who was helping someone else. It appears that someone of a higher pay grade determined the cost to the government of running an administrative clown show and decided to get rid of the bad apples and to streamline the system considerably. The improvements are wonderful.

Absent significant issues, visa seekers don't need an attorney to complete the paperwork. It would be a waste of money. The attorneys will just delegate the data entry to a secretary, as Celano does, all the while collecting an exorbitant fee. You can enter the data yourself into Radex in 15 minutes.

This is one of the best and perhaps the most welcome comments "ever" posted on this subject, but I have only been a member for nineteen years and the site was already in its second year when I joined

Excellent news!

I will be starting my application the next month so this has given me some extra confidence.

I dealt with the old style public workers in Migraciones with "cara de nalga" as we used to say (haha) before when extending tourist visas and I was shocked at how unprofessional they were so its good to see the current gov is addressing that and removing them, there is zero need for it and it reflects terribly on the image of the country.

hello guys I am doing the application for renewing my rentisa temporary visa and I am unsure exactly what to upload here. I remember the conditions from doing the application last year which were showing each month a minimum international wire transfer into my local bank account and also to show the passive income was still arriving in my investment account.

For the 1st upload is that where I should upload the bank statements for each month the dollars wired in or is it just asking for literally a ticket from the atm or bank account? if anyone else has completed the process and remember each stage that would be great if you could guide me here.

thanks

For what it's worth, my residency was just approved without having made any deposits. They were not listed as being required on the Radex website nor were they requested during my personal interview.

A Migraciones employee came to my building looking for a missing Russian fellow. The Migraciónes employee said that the 5x deposits are not required. And so I did not make them. But of course it won't hurt you to make them.

Disclosure: I am no fan of Migraciónes. Quite the contrary. Just sayin'.

Good luck.

Hi Richard.

But your visa was a temporary rentista visa?

Hello! I have 2 masters degrees and am finding the RaDex system arduous. I want to hire someone to help me with this. I want to stay here permanently. Even getting a CUID number has been a hassle because I don't speak Spanish. I have experienced professionals quoting $2800 and also people just not getting back to me. I cannot go on doing the VISA run thing indefinitely. Can someone please provide suggestions as to who I can contact for reasonably priced, reliable, consistent help? Any ideas or offers much appreciated! Thank you!

Great! I so much appreciate your referral here. Also, how can I attend the next coffee chat?
