Geert WIlders is being prosecuted for violating a criminal statute in Holland, a statute that would be prima facie unconstitutional in the US and in any nation with reasonable laws providing for freedom of speech. He is being prosecuted in a heresy trial for verbally offending a religious group, Islam.
