The New Head Of Banco Nacion

Yes, I know they are very touchy and all, and think they are the only one ever had bad time ..

They were not the only ones to have a bad time, but the bad times here were really bad. I grew up under a dictatorship too, where people were tortured and even disappeared. Yet, compared to what was going one here, it was a picknick. Argentina arguably went through the most brutal dictatorship in all of South America. It was so bad that even the Brazilian generals (who also tortured and killed people) were like "Holy crap, those guys in the Argentina Junta are some crazy psychos".

So as terrible as Cristina is, there is simply no comparison between then and now, and that is why some Argentines get irked when you call Cristina a dictator.

I dont know if she has experience in banking, but if not, she has a ot of experience in politics, and as I said under this governmeent politics is above everything, above banking, above economics, above everything. Its not like the bank decissions are made by the head, they are all made by Cristina. And Cristina had always chosen young and preparred people to fill key positions, from Minister of economy, to run Aerolineas, or Anses. Always young people. Lousteau, Kicillof, etc, etc, etc, so no surprise. They all obbey what she says, its not that under her administration those charges are THAT important. They had lost independency, autonomy, etc, because they all respond to Cristina.

No she doesn't she was a "Policy Advisor" to an MEP and failed when running for the European parliament. She even said in an interview a year ago she doesn't follow argie politics. http://www.urgente24...directora-del-b
She has sweet f a experience in politics.

Im not talking of justice, police, etc, just economic decissions. The central bank depends 100% on Cristinas deccissions, and its ok by me.

Every economic decission is taken by the ejecutive power. Theres a cabinet, but is Cristina who puts the foot down. And its ok, it should be this way.

About justice, there are important judges that are very close to this government. And also very important judges that opose to this government and support Clarin. There are lots of cautelares from Clarin, from La Nacion...

But the SC is independent 100%.

I always recognised in this forum that Peronism in general and this administration in particular are very authoritarian. Search my messages. But in my understanding thats the lesser of evils, and in lots of ways a government in a country as Argentina must be in many manners authoritarian. Its the ony way to govern and to not let the corporations take every from here, something we have lived.

here the system used to work, like for 30 years or more, only to a tiny percentage of society. And the excluded began to increase more and more, and argentine industry, work, disappeared...... till we had 54% under the poverty line.

This is the government that industrialised the most, included millions that were excluded, gave them work, gave them social plans, gave them a monthly income, even teeth!! some of them got a new car, house (I know examples of people who was cartoneros and now has a new house)...

Sure, it's an obvious case of nepotism, but it's possible she could do the job. Here's an example of a college dropout that had no previous experience as a CEO of a corporation that is doing just fine. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aaron_Levie

Play with your own money or that of willing investors and I don't care if you spend all your day scratching your nether regions. Thats very different to dealing with public money. We've already seen what Recalde's doing. I have no reason to think Rossi won't be a repeat of that.

The comparison is wholly irrelevant. Levie initiated his company, so it's his baby. Banco Nacion is a national banking institution that has been around since 1891, thus it's not some entrepreneur's new enterprise.

People are saying that the job is too much for a 26 year old with no experience. I'm just pointing out that age and experience don't always tell the whole story about what a person can or can't do.

I would like to nominate my four year old daughter to run Banco Nacion. Whilst she does admittedly have a few problems counting beyond 15, she is well educated having studied in London and Buenos Aires and recently obtained a prestigious certificate for her macaroni sculptures.

Becoming banker can be a lifelong dream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqZ2hWWbVFk
