Train to Tucuman? Unless they have increased fares it is very cheap. There is a sleeping car. Private rooms with an upper and lower berth. Tickets sell out very fast however. This train could be on the chopping block with all that is going on, so if you're interested act fast.

They start the sales tomorrow at 10am for the July dates to travel across Rio Negro province. A very slow 800km From the Atlantic to San Carlos de Bariloche. Or get off in some desolate desert steppe town for, I suppose, a weekend of biking or hiking. You can bring your car too.
