Yes, there's a lot of junk on the roads, there's actually a Renault Simca parked in my street right now, it could be almost as old as me. Given that cars like that were barely roadworthy when they rolled (or were towed) out of the factory, maybe there's some vintage car grandfathering procedure that I don't know about.there is no way those old farm ford trucks i see driving around picking up trash or broken appliances have had anything resembling an inspection in 30 years. not to mention half of the camiones i see rumbling down paseo del bajo or around the port.
All I know is I got an SUV to fend off the pelotudos and their junk. Anyone in one of those cars having a collision with me has to know that they will come off worse. Farm trucks and camiones are a different problem of course, but in CABA there are fewer of them and they're concentrated in a few areas like the port.
