Today's translator app of choice ?

I am a professional translator and can sadly report that ChatGPT is doing an awesome job at translating most anything really well. It is possible it may miss a tiny something for a specific purpose once in a long while but it is 98% incredibly accurate and impressive.

The best translate app for English voice to Spanish voice or vice-versa ?

have you noticed if this true for CABA Spanish (with all of its rioplatense / lunfardo / porteño idiosyncrasies.) (or for a generic "spanish" / "LAT" ?

As a translator for pay I have always worked with neutral Spanish.
However, I have seen how much ChatGPT can do if you provide the proper prompts. It's all about prompt engineering. So, as an exercise I asked it:
"Can you put together an Argentinian Spanish greeting for a group of expats living in Argentina who would like a taste of your language level and skills?"

ChatGPT said:
Claro, here’s a warm, lunfardo-infused greeting for expats who want to get a feel for the local vibe:

[Keep in mind that this was not translation, but original output by ChatGPT.]

And it's not just ChatGPT, there are so many AIs already. This is a recent video exploring the potential of AI, good and bad:
