I am a permanent resident with DNI and Argentine Bank accounts.
I need to transfer money from my UK bank account to my Argentine bank account for the purchase of a property.
I know it gets transferred to AR$pesos on arrival in Argentina, then I need to convert it back to u$s, so paying commission twice.
Question:
I think I am looking at 3% commission in total (£ - AR$ = 1.5% + AR$ - u$s = 1.5%) to get GBR£ from the UK to u$s here in Argentina? Or are there any banks that charge less or another way to do it LEGALLY for less?
