I've been here for over two years and have been doing a visa run every few months but last night found out that my travel insurance I bought was invalid because I've been out of the UK for such a long time. (I bought it on line while in Argentina 8 months ago)

Does any know what the low-down is on buying travel insurance when you've been away for more than 2 years?

Meanwhile I'll be very careful while crossing the roads here

You can buy a travel insurance policy for 90 or 180 days renewable, depends on age factor and other issues. From Assist-Med Green, The contact lady below can assist you. Cost estimate US$ 100 per month. English ??? not sure.

I've had a good experience with http://www.allianztravelinsurance.com. They have promptly reimbursed me for medical expenses I've had in Argentina and Chile.

Only found these guys that can insure me. I can't find anyone else who will insure a Brit who left over two years a go.
