Trump: Argentina is fighting for its life, they are dying

Hasn't the Argentine opposition been making similar exaggerations about the domestic situation for the last year and a half?
I'm dying...dying for some hard cheeses and thai food.

Argentina is full of contradictions. My daughter's "top-rated" school here is next to an old villa. There's no paved roads and I can't tell you if they have any suministro de servicios but they sure have nice cars driving around there, even ADT stickers on the houses. It's ironic that Argentina's most "precarious" class has more stable home ownership than the USA where 60% of have to service a mortgage or be homeless.

Expats and Argentines are two different things. Have some sympathy, and common sense.

Well President Trump, thanks for the 2.8% 2026 SSA COLA. Considering the 11.6% Medicare B increases, you might have found a better use for the $20 ($40?) billion thrown down a rathole to help the Argies.

Also $20 billion from the IMF, in part funded by USA.

No property taxes, and no mortgages, means those who can afford to buy, or inherit, virtually never lose their homes, regardless of the economy.
