I want to try Starlink for my home internet provider but am having trouble placing the order on their site. According to their map Starlink is currently available here. Is anyone using it? Or on the waitlist?

I'm currently using Movistar but having too many interruptions. If I'm not able to get Starlink, can someone recommend a non-Movistar alternative?

Difficult to respond without knowing where you are. OTOH, someone here in our barrio is using Starlinka18183c3-ec67-4ba0-817c-bdb6fa2faec2.jpeg

I have starlink in the USA, in a rural location. Its great for that, but in the city, not so great. You need rooftop access to install the dish, and, of course, its valuable, so prone to theft, unless the rooftop is secure. You need clear sightlines- and only find out exactly in which direction when you put the disc up there, and on the phone app, aim it for best reception. So if your building is the tallest one around, it could work. But not if a taller building is in the way, or even trees. Its definitely faster and more reliable than my current Personal service in my apartment, but it would not be feasible for me here. You would also need a fairly expensive cable from the antenna to your home modem- and in the USA, an outdoor rated cable is about $2 a foot...
