Just been to Coto on Cabildo, it's a turkey free zone. Anyone know where I can get a turkey, having left it a bit late. Closer to Belgrano the better. Not looking for a whopper, just for 5 of us.

I buy my turkeys here, and they deliver if you can't go pick it up: http://www.delicateses.com.ar/ You'll want a pavita, not a pavo. Not sure if the link's working. It's called La Granja Converso on Lavalle 3501. Tel. 4866-1108

There is an organic chicken place on Guemes near Jeranimo (maybe mispelled, I'm not near a map) on the side of the street closest to the river. We buy our chickens there and they are fabulous. I believe he has turkeys or you could buy a very large chicken :=).

There's a municipal market in Belgrano, on Juramento between Ciudad de la Paz and Amenabar. Across from the butcher is a guy that sells all kinds of fowl. The turkey has to be ordered in advance, but he can usually get one for the following day.
