Vegetable Steamer - Experience

Does anyone have any experience using Vegetable Steamer, is it possible to cook Rice in it?

How trustful is it and does it get messy?

I know this great way to cook rice, you just need a pot, lid, rice, water and a stove.

Thanks, Rich 1, got it. I haven't used one in years. Just but a little water and olive oil &/or butter in the bottom of pan, with whatever, cover…. there you go!

[sub]Guys I need this as one of my friend do not have Gas in his shop. So to go for electrodomesticos, they show in advertisement that vegetable Steamer can cook Rice, I just want to confirm the same.[/sub]

We used to call them pressure cookers.
Vegetables taste much better when cooked like this.
