VISA card purchases rate is worse now?

Have been noticing that the once-favorable foreign VISA card rate is now around 990 ars/ dollar. Am I the only one getting this or has the "preferential" rate simply vanished for foreign visa cards?

Seems you're right, based on the official Visa website the rate is 981.75 today

WU was saying 1189 ARS - 1 USD a few mins ago.

I got 1144.97 today from MoneyGram for a $300 transfer, sent to Mercado Pago. I would have gotten 1107.80 from WU for the same amount, after fees. I could have gotten 1195 selling billetes at my usual cueva, but I needed the pesos to be in the bank today to pay something.

A lot of quite different prices today for the same product.

@amik @MarshallE You are not using the calculator correctly. You have reversed the currency. You need to go FROM ARS TO USD,
