Does anyone know of place where I can do volunteer work? All of the places I have been to, want me to give them money or just don't return my e-mails.

I would recommend checking out www.idealistas.org, the "Clasificados Solidarios ( charity classified ads- ) in the online version of La Nacion newspaper http://clasificados.lanacion.com.ar/indexSolidarios.asp, and/or contacting the Red solidaria http://www.redsolidaria.presencia.net/article/static/265/. for guidance.

BABS, British-American Benevolent Society, run a retirement home in Devoto and urgently need volunteers for their book / second hand store in the northern subuirbs, The proceeds benefit the retirement home. They run an ad in the Day by Day column of the Herald. Check the Herald for the number .
