Wedding Reception In Ba - Looking For Ideas

My Argentine fiancé and I are hosting a small wedding reception (80-100 people) in Buenos Aires. Unfortunately, the Park-Hyatt, Faena, and Four Seasons, etc. are a bit out of our budget.... Can anyone suggest a salon / place to host our event? Thanks in advance!

Try Confiteria La Gran Cordoba ( google it )

This should come handy, try 4 star hotels, some are really nice

I have no idea what it is like but when I read your question Palacio Barolo came to mind.Anyhow the site might come in useful for viewing what is out there. www. casamientosonline.com/paquetes-para-casamientos-en-buenos-aires/boda-en-palacio-barolo-viernes/2851

Citygirl - a space in PM near the reserve would be a great location for us! If you can remember the name, that would be awesome.

Was it Brisas Del Plata?? We had our reception there a bit over a year ago, I'd recommend it.

Thanks again everyone! Appreciate the leads, and we have now sent many emails to places to get quotes.

Any ideas on what the per person cost at Brisas del Plata, Barolo, Quintana, Gran Cordoba, Milion, etc., may run? So many websites have out of date info (or none at all) on what the price per person is - and with inflation, I really have no idea what I should expect to spend!

Hi Ladies and Gents,

Thanks again for everyone's contributions - we investigated them all!

Just wanted to give everyone a quick (but long overdue) update... We checked out almost all of the recommendations provided, and after visits and taste tests, we went with Club Sirio-Libanes in Recoleta, which was recommended by my Argentine mother-in-law.

They were top notch, professional, and charming. The food was excellent, flowers lovely, they were able to procure Vueve Cliquot at wholesale cost (not liquor store cost - I nearly fainted when I saw the price in the store!) and the service was great. Not a single problem or issue to report. My Argentine husband was waiting for bait and switch, or the general fleecing, and it never came around. We had regular Argentine wedding food and desserts (though lighter on the dulce de leche, at my request) and the pata de jamon at the end was appreciated by all.

All in all - our reception was pretty darn perfect there, and I would recommend it without reservations.

ps. They are not paying me for my glowing recommendations ;)

A place on Humboldt (~Humboldt 1450) in Palermo between Niceto Vega & Cabrera. Don't know the name, but I think that "Palermo" is in the name as well.
