OK, well that was certainly a resounding success!
We had twelve people in total, I believe, eight of whom had never been to a coffee chat, so lots of new faces and fun conversation as we all got acquainted.
Magdalena's Party had our table all ready, as per the reservation. We started to gather about 10 minutes before the appointed hour of 1400, and didn't even slow down for hours. The first nine of us to arrive ordered two giant platters of food and two bottles of wine, and later arrivals ordered independently. The BBQ was tender and delicious, the wine was an entirely acceptable Malbec, and the service was not bad at all, especially considering how crowded it was, (and it was a freaking mob scene).
About 1630 we paid the tab and 10 of us adjourned to Libros de Pasaje in order to escape the loud music, where we hung out yentering up a storm for another two hours and a bit until was well dark outside.
All in all, it was a good time, and we agreed we will do this again in two weeks, on Sunday June 1st.
Big , big thanks to everyone who attended, you were great company, and it was wonderful that everyone seemed to be in such a happy, cheerful mood.
