"Gov't Concerned by Skilled Labour Shortage" is the subject of an article in today's (July 11.'16) BA Herald. As is already known about 50% of job openings for skilled technical personnel those for students of Science,Technology,Engineering & Math are not able to be filled due to the lack of qualified applicants In The Skilled Demand 2020 Report. The projection for the coming years is even more dire.
What has happened? Maybe too much Peronist political rhetoric and not enough harsh reality in the Argentine university and public education system maybe? Read the article for more information.
Besides these hard skills, there will be a projected need for more soft or people skills-negotiating,marketing,public speaking, conflict resolution,etc.-as well .The article is worth a few minutes of your time if you are interested in Argentina's employment future.
