What is going on with daylight savings?

It got cancelled due to various provinces objecting afik
 
Better than announcing it and then cancelling a few hours beofre like they did before!

Like McDonalds? I see where you are going with this.

As the time changes at 0200 hr, the late-night shift is adversely affected as they will have to work an extra hour, of which they will not get paid for. This, over a few ten thousand McDonalds equates to billions of dollars in surplus revenue!

I think that the decision to change the hour, or not change the hour outside of the seasonal time changes, is an economical decision, or at least this is how it has been explained to me by Argentineans. It is something the government adopted following initiatives applied in Africa to save on national use of electricity and utilities etc.
