I don't think Western Union customer service could do anything to help you, even if they wanted to, as it's the bank that did not accept your last two transfers. We sent across 9 separate transfers in the space of 4 months to a local arg bank account - (all between USD$500 and $2500).
We had no problems for the first 7.
Then we got blocked - as in the money didn't arrive for the last 2 transfers - both were refunded by WU about a week after they were sent.
We solved it by sending $ to a different local bank account.
No idea how long the block lasts.. WU isn't great with customer service.
Anyone know how to get unblocked?
I suggest you contact the bank that blocked the transfers as they have the power to also unblock them.
PS: The bank may have blocked the transfers because the monthly amounts that you have been sending to yourself exceed the monthly income that you "declared" you would be depositing when you opened the account and/or if you've been depositing more than $200.000 pesos per month and aren't registered with AFIP to pay income tax (just a hunch).
