What's Your Favorite Splurge (Bar)

The other day we went to the bar at the Alvear Palace hotel and had 2 glasses of wine at $170AR each. It is a beautiful room (maybe the most beautiful bar I've ever been in), they pour a very big glass of Rutini and serve it with a bowl of hot cashews and a bowl of chips. A splurge but a good value.

The bar at the Plaza. Not as expensive as the Alvear, cooler staff.

Last year I was liking Shout- which is down by the park in Retiro.
But its not old world money style- its more young urban hipster.
Great bartenders, and if you sit at the bar, the chef is right there, and will cook up great tapas.
dunno this year, I will be down next week, and see whats up.

My favorite place is Chez Etienne, aka ..my place.
I know exactly how I like my drinks, don't use a measuring device and no tip is necessary!
