Where artists eat in Buenos Aires?

Isla flotante, and Santa Ines, yes. Tons of artists have studios in warnes and paternal, nearby. But artists here are not affluent. Most that I know work 2 or 3 jobs besides making art, and someplace like Acido is pretty pricey and murusacki is more full of business men than artists. Artists I know eat empanadas and cheap pizza and choripans.

For those that have a craving to mingle with "artists" and are willing to invest $14.K pesos in UBER , first they would need to know the prices and fare.

why would anyone go somewhere to eat just to mingle with artists? the whole concept is weird.
I am an artist, I have a lot of artist friends. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, but the idea that you would go somewhere to see them, like animals in the zoo, is really odd. Acido is a pretty good restaurant, but you go for the food.

I would also add the colectivo is still just under 500 pesos...

Waiting for a colectivo after midnight in Avellaneda is for the birds, plus 500 pesos each way...hehe

you live in avellenada? I have taken the colectivo there and back, to visit the railroad museum, but I wouldnt want to live there. too far from everything. but then I have never liked suburbs. or malls.
I have taken the colectivo many times between 2 and 4 in the morning, never had an issue.
None of the restaurants mentioned are more than a 500 peso ride for me.

I live in Recoleta but some of the mentioned restos are in, La Paternal, Chacarita 2 and Villa Crespo. The Uber costs that I mentioned from Recoleta round trip to La Chacarita.
After you eat say 11.30 you suggest waiting for a colectivo at a stop in La Chacarita ... never mind. Could be more than 15 minutes... Not safe 4 me.

everybody is different. I have taken colectivos home well past 11:30 for over a decade. never a problem. and these days, I eat earlier.
I generally take 5 to 10 colectivos every week. but I am not a rich one...

Everybody is different. I believe taking a cab is sort of an insurance policy. The more one stands at bus stops at night in La Chacarita, the higher the chances of getting mugged. We all read statistics differently. But it takes only one instance to be a victim.
