I can't find any store to buy the healthy wheat grass, "Hierba de trigo". anybody an idea?
Thanks

Go to this Small smalll Farmers Market on Dorrego off of Cordoba, Fridays y Saturdays. You can get it fresh there, every one else freezes it. I grow it sometimes, I buy the Pasta de trigo seeds, soak them, then get some soil and it grows very easily here. If anyone is interested, I am going to be throwing out kombucha mothers, they can't hibernate too long in the fridge, I checked them today and they are going to have to go soon, so if anyone wants any write to me here and I will be glad to give these kombucha's a new home. I have 2 that are awake and they make delicious healthy drinks. They are not the honey kombucha, you will need to use sugar and black tea.

Sugar in a "health" drink???? I assume that you're kidding.
It converts the sugar and tea, I cannot eat too much sugar, but I can drink a shot of kombucha. Yes, people who are into eating really healthy, they probably do prefer other enzyme drinks. But for now, this is what I have. It helps add the enzymes to my diet. The food we eat these days doesn't have much enzymes in it, kombucha is just one way of adding it, there are other drinks, such as fermented yuka/sweet potato drink, green coconut kefir, (these are preferred but these produces are not available here). I like making sprouted quinoa drink for enzymes, and rejuvanac, too. I just happen to drink more kombucha and it helps. I just want to add this, I offer the kombucha to bring more things to BA and since I am living here for good, I want to see more diversity in health food, and that includes enzymes. And I am a huge promoter live raw food, and I am not a promoter of sugary drinks, if you knew me, you would know that. I grow my own wheat grass and I am really getting into the raw food vegan diet. I love Gabriel Cousen, and maybe Gabriel Cousen would agree with you about the sugar part, but he may agree with me in getting good enzymes into your system and kombucha, I found for me, is one way.:)

Mhenna11: thanks for the information about the market, I didn't know about it.
Cheers

I had to google Kombucha:

Kombucha is an effervescent tea-based beverage that is often drunk for its health benefits or medicinal purposes. There is limited scientific information supporting any health benefit

the fotos are kind of gross

jajaja. Yes, it's gross looking. Most people, I thought would know what it was. But for those that know it, usually would like one because the drink itself isn't available in BA; it's 7 dollars a small jar in NY, it's an expensive health drink. Making it at home is cheaper and healthier.
I have a question for the Kombucha guy who makes it with apple juice, do you have the same kombucha I have? I didn't know you can use apple juice, that is good news for people who are caffeine sensitive. How do you prepare your drink, and how long do you keep your Kombucha in the apple juice. Where do you get apple juice from?

I can't find wheatgrass, even at this market is only being sold only in plants and I don't have a squeezer and proper kitchen requirements to make powder of it. Does anybody knows where I may buy it already on powder?
thanks!

Hi Mariano,

I took this from an article in Urbanikkei from 2010, so I do not know if it is still current.
