In Chile the monitor would cost around $103.000 pesos (http://www.wei.cl/index.htm?op=producto&pcode=MOLG002353) so around $190 USD. Plus another $20 USD at the border ( 50% tax on $40) = $210 USD. When comparing the prices using the current blue rate or argie credit card rate there is not a big difference to the prices at Fravega.

This may be a silly question, but this computer monitor that two people recommend, the 23 inch LG monitor, I'm assuming with the DVI and HDMI ports, I can connect directv or cablevision and use this for watching TV no ?

If your directtv or cable vision connects via hdmi or a connector the monitor has yeah. you'll need to get some speakers though. I have some older LG monitors that come with a standard earphone audio out connector that passes the hdmi audio signal.

Yup, the 23EA53V has an earphone out connector as well.
