Which Tv To Buy?

I'd buy and TV that replaces any speech by CFK with images of children throwing their toys out of their pram. That would be a real Smart TV

I would pay extra for that haha!

I just bought a philips 42 5007 it is smart tv ( awesome for some things ) media share works with my laptop and is really nice looking tv, very skinny compared to the samsungs though i like the samsung UI a bit better.

I paid $5400 after a 20% discount with rio santander card!
 
Get yourself a decent TV and then plug in one of these. Download your films on the internet and then watch them easily on this system. Basically turns your TV into a giant monitor

Thats a good price, I`m looking at the Philips 42 4007 and thats $5799 without any discount, where did you buy the 5007 from? Its a better set than the 4007.

Actually not that interested in smart tv element as I already have a ps3 and apple tv. Just want a good picture and sound.

Its a home theatre PC, basically a computer in a box for the TV. So you can download off the internet films,tv, music,etc and play it directly on your TV.
I have a cheaper option and thats to use a WDTV media player connected to the TV and stream media from my desktop pc. A HTPC is basically an all-in-one media player.

I saw some samsung TV (42" LED smart TV) in samsung showroom near Juramento subte station. They were costing 20000 pesos. Is that price for real? or can one buy a cheaper version of the same Tvs somewhere else?
 
Sure those samsungs were 42"? Perhaps 46" and above for $20000 pesos. It seems anything over 42" in Argentina are ludicrous prices, actually anything under 42" is also ludicrous ;-)

So, besides a CBS television station, what is WDTV? A cheaper option does appeal to me.
