Who has gotten citizenship in Argentina and your original citizenship and nationality is the USA?

1. Welcome to Federal Law.
2. Regarding children, the executive power enforces the law and Courts interpret it. I won many cases and recently I acted as an expert in citizenship law before the Federal Court of Mar del Plata in a prominent case where it was declared that the distinction between natives and naturalized persons is a category suspected of discrimination.
3. You are talking about province law that SC declared unconstitutional several times.
4. You quote an abolished Constitution That source is always imprecise.
You were my citizenship lawyer and you are the best. This is not in dispute.

However I do not think you are setting reasonable expectations for a Naturalized citizen as there are in fact some (admittedly irrelevant for most people) restrictions in force to be aware of as I posted. I don't dispute that YOU might be able to get those laws/restrictions invalided in court but a normal person is not going to undertake a time consuming and costly litigation.

Normally, depending on the country, nationality is usually the place you were born and so it doesn't change. However, in Argentina I have seen the nationality change on the dni to Argentina when a person becomes a citizen...odd actually...but if it's true I'd be thrilled!

I can only think of Uruguay that keeps the old nationality listed on the passport of naturalized citizens. Argentina changing the nationatity is not odd, but the norm.

What is the final verdict?

If a naturalized Argentince citizen has a child abroad with a non Argentine. can he/she go to Argentina embassy and demand a passport for his/her new child born in a foreign land which may not give the child a passport ?

Please advise?

I've always wondered about the the Argentine citizenship process, what assets had to be declared in the US? And how do they value a house for example? Do you declare the equity only or do they look at the county assessed value regardless of the mortgage?

No, you have to apply at a Federal Court with a lawyer.

Why would they do that?

Do you follow the news. The new head of the entire Argentine version of the IRS was found to have millions of dollars of undeclared property in the USA. Response from the Milei and the government ... no big deal, forget about it and move on lol

Don't declare anything ever, straight from the top, a point for Bajo Cero

One of the strangest parts to me of Argentine culture is their complete befuddlement in the value of being honest with anyone except perhaps close family. The pervasive suspicion that the quality of everything is a deception. It really speaks to the collective trauma of a nation that is constantly on the verge of instability.
