if she wins this country is destined for another 20 years of doldrums. she will increase handouts and bring back socialist policies that the government can't pay for but her supporters who live off the government teat salivate over, then when someone else comes back in the bills and debt will come due. cycle starts all over again.

Seems to be the cycle for about the last 6 decades I would say. Except for the military gov stuff.

Recently, I was in Lima. A local driver told me lot of Venezuelans are in Peru without Venezuelan documents ( cedu-la, date of birth certificate police report etc) , so they are unable to apply for Peruvian cedu-la. In short, they are "stateless" now. Its really horrifying.

It seems they have fled all over South America I saw them in Uruguay, I have seen them here and ran into several the last time I was in BA. It is a profoundly sad state of affairs. And it is affecting more than just Venezuela.

You are very ignorant if you believe that people are to blame for the financial collapses that befall them . The powers that be create financial crashes and booms as to benefit a select few . This has been the history of Argentina for a long long time .
