I have always believed that the majority of Argentinians have no shame they cannot be embarrassed they seem to have no to respect for themselves or anyone or anything else. When you have nothing, you destroy. US crime was much much higher in 2009/2010. Many police were laid off, people really had a hard time surviving. I would give Argentines a break, they are better people in different environment. I found them to be much more honest than other cultures I have encountered. No offense.

I don't think it is possible to humiliate an Argentinian. Even those admitting their country's faults never show a tiny bit of shame.

And before you jump up and say that all the italo-americans from Jersey are the same, I would like to state here that many Italians are ashamed about their politics and fellow Italians. There is of course a large fraction that will disturb the various great dead Italians starting from Julius Caesar onward, etc to justify the cultural superiority of Italians. But I think there are just as many americans defending the Bushes, the Trumps, etc. and saying money rules, etc.

I remember clearly a lunch talk from the office with my chiefs. We were discussing how much shameful were Berlusconi's bunga-bunga and one strongly opposed saying that "in his spare time, he can do whatever he wants", and I said that I didn't want to be represented by someone like that because when abroad, people make fun of you, even if you do that stuff in your spare time. I guess that if you never leave your country, you can't see the bads of yours and you live happily in bigotry.
