there is a HORRIFYING video on FB of the immediate aftermath of a bombing in a market in Iraq, if anyone has seen it or wants to see the crazy sad reality of the world today.

My family is Catholic Iraqi so this is especially hard to see.

The only one to benefit will be the Military Industrial Complex. Some might say that was Bush, Cheney, Blair, etc's strategy from the beginning. Maybe, but I think it was just simple hubris mixed with ignorance and stupidity.

It is amazing that we screwed this up so badly. My first wife was Iraqi-American. Her family did and currently lives in Mosul. I was actively involved in the attack on Bagdad and Iraq and they supported me/us 100% in the overthrow of Saddam. They even gave me the family's addresses in Bagdad and Mosul I guess so I wouldn't accidentally bomb them.

It is more than a shame was has happened. I'm very sad about this and overall, see our actions in Iraq as a huge mistake.
