Taking a self-defense class - the most affirmative step a woman can take for herself.

This 3-hour course for women’s self-defense over the space of a week is designed to teach defense skills for women without prior training in physical combat. This course is mean for women from all walks of life, from all age groups, whether you are someone’s mother, daughter, sister or wife. This will be the best gift we can give to ourselves - prepare yourself, to better protect yourself.

During the course, the topics will be covered:

How to develop and train the female mental & emotional states for self-defense?
- Unchaining the mental shackles women place on themselves
- Freeing oneself from fear of physical aggression

Moves for women against threatening force:
- Arming yourself with strikes and locks
- Physical techniques: How to strike? Exploiting points of weaknesses, ways of delivering the blow.

Knowing your physical surroundings during the confrontation: how to avoid getting trapped?
Making accurate judgement calls
Tactics to extricate yourself from the situation with speed, reducing endangerment.

The 3-hour course will be held during the week of Monday 22 September:

22nd September, 6.00 – 7.00 PM (Monday)
24th September, 6.00 – 7.00 PM (Wednesday)
26th September, 6.00 – 7.00 PM (Friday)

Course fee of 60 pesos for 3 hours.

About Senior Master Instructor M. Castroman:-
Miguel Castroman was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He commenced studies and vigorous training in Chinese martial arts before the age of 12. Under the tutorage of Chinese Kung Fu masters in Argentina and United States, Miguel Castroman became an expert practitioner of both northern and southern styles of Kung Fu. His blows combined the ferocity and fearsome power of the northern style, with the dexterity and complex manoeuvres of the southern style of Kung Fu. The scope of his wide martial arts knowledge covers the disciplines of Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Taoista Yoga and meditation among others. In 2005, he was instructor for the martial arts squad of Argentina’s Federal Police Academy Ramon L.Falcon.
