Today, I went to the Auto Classica show at the San Isidro Hipodromo. There was an amazing number of cars, trucks, motos and buses.
Sunday is the last day. The Hipodromo is a short walk from the San Isidro (Tigre Line) station. $80.00 10:00-18:30

Does my 39 Chevy coupe classify as being classic?.. Just posted for sale in craig's list, starting to clear my belongings due to soon perhaps needing to start packing for destination new!

A 39 chevy certainly is classic in Argentina. In fact, the great Fangio started out racing cars like that, and in the museum dedicated to him, in Balcarce, there are some similar cars. 2 39's, and a 40', not all of which were driven personally by Fangio, but I think at least one was.

There are some interesting car museums in Argentina- I have been to 3 now, with another 2 or 3 on my list for this winter. There is a nice, small, museum at the ACA headquarters on Libertador- thats the Argentine equivalent of the AAA in the US. And the Fangio museum is wonderful. Good car museum in La Plata, as well. There is another auto museum in CAB I have yet to visit, but I will.

39 Chevy! Heresy! I always assumed you were a Toyota Century man!

The Fangio museum has much nicer cars than Panteras- they have the Mercedes 300SLR that Fangio won something 5 grand prix and Le Mans in.
Besides- didnt Vince Neil crash the Pantera?

In Argentina, the Justicialista is much cooler than a Pantera.

Are you kidding?

The Justicialista is a cool ride. And I expect Hybrid-san will be adding this to his shopping list.

Are you familiar with any Photo apps? You need to reduce the size. If you're on a PC, you can use Picasa (http://picasa.google.com/) and Save As with a different file size (and quality).
