We found Sheila (because she looks like a dingo) on the coast in Mar del Sur. Lots of dogs are left after the busy season in touristy areas--just a sad but true fact that there isn't much consciousness around animal control, castrating, etc.
She wouldn't have survived the winter down there, so we took her home, got her wormed and vaccinated, and she seems to have been neutered as there is a small scar on her belly.
She's between 1-2 year old and really sweet. She's housebroken, doesn't bark much (but does bark when there are strange noises outside), she's really smart and comes if you whistle or snap you fingers. She's really affectionate, but not annoying--she'll just lay at your feet wherever you are. She's an average sized dog (about the size of the small boxers here).
We have another dog and not too much space for them to run around and play, added to the fact that our landlord lives next door...didn't go over too well.
