Worthless Napkins!!

I bought Ikea in Italy, as well. And even the cheapest crap at the discount was better than this plastic paper they have here.
I remember the first time I had to clean myself with Argentinian toilet paper. Not funny.

Years ago this was VERY similar to toilet paper in France! you think it's messy trying to eat using them, try doing something else!

In many, many women's bathrooms there's either no toilet paper, or they put a roll that's too big for the container and you can't turn it and even get toilet paper out.

I didn't know those pathetic waxy papers were still around. They used to be common. Toilet paper used to be in very short supply in public places -- even high end. I remember the men's room for Platea in the Teatro Colon. There used to be about two or three coarse sheets in each stall or you had to ask the attendant for more and then you got another couple of sheets. Now I find most decent places have enough toilet paper on hand. In general there has been a big improvement in public toilets and hygiene over the past 25 years or so. Still paper products are pathetic as everyone has been saying. Paper towels are tragic. I bring back thin wash cloths from the US. I find they are very useful for cleaning and drying dishes etc.

Worthless napkins? I've never seen such a useless, more pointless thread. Just like the Argentine napkins. LOL. It's also one of the funnest threads to be started in a long time after a period of dark ages and gloomy, politically driven threads.
