Hi Everyone,
My wife and I picked a dog up off the street last week. We had seen him around town dodging traffic and eating handouts in front of Burger King (no, he's not stupid).
Anyway, we got him back on his feet and I've been working with him. He had an eye infection which we cleared up with antibiotics and now he's putting on some weight. He's learned the rules of the house and has his confidence back and we are now comfortable adopting him out. As best I can tell he's about 14 months. He is definitely not an alpha. He is not bothered by other dogs - neither aggressive nor fearful - and I doubt he would attack a burgler but he does sound off when something outside isn't quite right. He and our cat, Milo have become best friends. They chase each other around the yard and they have been hanging out in Buddy's box together. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say he's a 6 for being active. He runs with the cat but then sleeps for a couple of hours in the sun. He has been fine for about 5 hours alone in the yard (the longest we've been gone from home).
I have raised 5 dogs and rescued another 10 or so in my life. This one is definitely a keeper. He would make a great house/yard dog and really wants to please.

If you would be interested in a great pup and can provide for him let me know. He would love a good home with attention. He is all kisses. We are in San Isidro.
Best,
GS
