Anyone following this situation? I am afraid F and K are finally cooking the goose.

What am I missing?

doesn't sound too ominous just yet, but whatver happens there will be fingers pointed elsewhere and probably money printed to prop them up.

Basically everyone involved or owed money by ypf will take a hit. Vendors, investors, AR citizens.

Key part from the article - YPF, unable to get the Central Bank to sell it the dollars it needs to make near-term debt payments.

They need dollars and the BCRA can't print those.

I'm sure you know who is holding back those dollars to distress the situation and make it easier to screw the creditors and swoop the company.

But if you loan argentina money who's fault is it really?

Vaca Muerta is now finished. No foreign partner or investor will provide the needed investment capital. This is a big negative for Argentina. I am very sad to see it.
