My husband and I are living in San Telmo - we've been taking advantage of the Bici en Mejor program (yellow bikes). They're pretty much big clunky POSes, but they're bicycles and they're free :) If you want to go for a ride around the Reserva, let me know. We'd definitely go out for a beer, too.

Yay!! I'm so glad the movie will be playing here so soon! It was filmed in my hometown (and surrounding areas), Asheville, NC. I have a lot of friends in it and it'll be so great to be able to see them on the big screen. Thanks for letting us know the release date, StuckLikeGlue.

I went to Lincoln - graduated in '78 - and we lived in LaLucila. I loved it there. I think my parents did, too, but I can't swear to that. It's a really pretty neighborhood and, of course, SO close to the school. Suerte!

My husband and I are moving to San Telmo on Friday and discovered a queer (or at least queer friendly i.e. rainbow flag in the window) place right around the corner from our soon-to-be apartment (Yay!). It wasn't open when we were walking around the neighborhood, but we'll definitely be visiting...
