    NYer in BA

also a new yorker. i wouldn't come. i can't wait to go home. I'm only here for six months. I was last here over a year ago and things were much better then - I really didn't miss home and was pretty happy living here. Now, I am counting down. It's pretty sad.

yeah sorry i should have specified - I'm much closer to Soho than to Las Heras y Diaz, but it's not a bad walk. ideally, someone who can cut with both scissors and razors.

    Igauzu

Thanks for the replies! Flights appear to be very expensive, but perhaps if I pay in cash at a reputable agency (with my Xoom rate), a flight may be doable. If not, I appreciate the bus tips!

    Buenos aires drinking water

thanks for the advice. seems the phillips filter is the way to go. Last year I kept my tap water in the fridge before drinking it and it was more tolerable, but at room temperature not so great. apparently i may have to take a trip to barrio chino for coconut water!

    Buenos aires drinking water

I know that it's potable, I just forgot that it does not taste great. Where can I find a Brita filter? Also, has anyone seen Coconut Water in BA? I drink it before my Bikram yoga classes, and would love to find it here. Thanks! - s
