Anyone know of a place to find a cheap phone? :)

Hi there - We're leaving in a couple of weeks and I have a fairly bog standard Nokia I'd happily sell you, though I'll need it until the 17th. Let me know if you're interested. Cheers

    Places to stay in Ushuaia?

We stayed at La Casa de Tere in November. Tere herself is very nice and the rooms are big etc. Price reasonable. Señor Suitcase www.senorsuitcase.com

    Velez-San Lorenzo

I totally agree. Not that I completely blame him. Was a pretty intimidating atmosphere for the keeper.

    Velez-San Lorenzo

I was there at the stadium today. A stupid minority ruining what would have been a great game. The UK had Hillsborough in 1986. Everything changed after that. The Argentinian FA need to wake up. You treat people like animals, they behave like animals. But then again, some people are just dickheads.

Anyone been to a football/soccer game at Velez?

I have been to Velez twice. Great atmosphere. Very lively but have never felt unsafe. It's a good option.

The Mile High Curtain Of Shame

3 flights in a single night is enough to leave even the most Bransonian of travellers a touch jaded. But what really gets under my skin is not the 2 hour airplane transfer at 5am or being packed in so tight you keep knocking your headphones off with your knees, for neither of these irritations...

How To Eat Argentina In 8 Steps

With the notable exception of tinned tuna sushi and a slew of forgettable pizzas, we’ve enjoyed all of the food here. However, there are a few stand-out items on the menu del pais that demand to be eaten. None of them are green. All of them go with Malbec. And if you know anywhere else where we...

    Ruta 40 & The Glacier

It’s back. The film they tried to ban. In the second (and penultimate) part of Fin Del Mundo, Señor Suitcase travel down the legendary Ruta 40 and walk on top of the massive Perito Moreno Glacier. Along the way they encounter a breakdown, more dangerously epic scenery, and scale the full...
