How Is Argentina's Economy Doing Now?

Though the source of the data you cite appears to be neutral and consequently reliable, the figures are unreliable to the extent the calculations are based upon data furnished by the AR government to whom the IMF has given a yellow card for misrepresenting its economic performance. As you...

How Is Argentina's Economy Doing Now?

Are you suggesting that the figures published by the Arg government are reliable? Do the general statistics (whatever they truly are) determine the quality of your family's life?

Looking For A Flat To Buy

In 2008 near the peak of the market I bought a 64 sq m apt in the Recoleta for 148K or about $2200/sq m. It was in impeccable condition ( was previously owned by a wealthy man who used it as a "boudin"[sp?]). A similar apt in a good part of London or NY or many other world class cities would...

Would someone please help me understand how the CEDIN works (or is intended to work)? I assume one buys CEDINs with US dollars brought "home" from offshore accounts. If I buy a USD100 denominated CEDIN bond for US $100, I can then use it for various real estate purposes including buying a home...

    Booking A Holiday

For an entire month, $1000 each? You can forget Rio and any decent hotel anywhere assuming you want to eat. RT air to places near the equator (Ecuador, Venezuela , Panama) will run close to 1000. Better to make it 2 weeks and forget warm.
