Thanks @Jtee125 ! I am waiting at AEP for my flight to Cordoba. Luckily it was delayed by 90min or I likely would not have had enough time to connect.. I did have to claim my bags and recheck them here in Buenos Aires. The aduanas went through 3 of my bags due to "electronics" but luckily I...
In the US you typically deal with luggage at the first point of entry and as you indicated this is not the case in Europe. The Aerolineas agent did inform me this will be US-Brazil style first entry. I will update on the forum on Thur hopefully with my luggage safe and sound in Cordoba ☺️...
I just found out there was a Aerolineas office near my place so i stopped by and the guy told me I will have to carry my bags back to the check in counter but he said I could bypass the line as I will already have the boarding pass. He said as long as you have 90min at AEP you are fine.
Next Wed I'm arriving international into AEP and then connecting domestic. Checked bags, same ticket on Aerolineas (Asuncion - AEP - Cordoba)
I'm wondering whether I need to pick up luggage and pass through customs (US style). Or will bag be checked through to final destination? (Europe...
Be cautious with the onward travel ticket outfits offering the 10 to 20 dollar tickets that are good for 48hrs. See the trust pilot reviews lots of people mention bad experiences.. The first company issued me a 12 dollar ticket that turned out to be just a reservation, not a confirmed (paid...
I realize that. I posted that link because it is in english. Here is the consulate info in Argentina. I will be in country but not in bsas long enough so I have no options as they require an interview.. https://www.gov.br/mre/pt-br/consulado-buenos-aires/vistos-1/vivis-visa-de-visita They...
The "reporting" from "handyvisas" appears to be incorrect. To obtain the visa you need to mail your passport to the consulate in the US. Not worth the hassle and risk imo.. https://www.gov.br/mre/pt-br/consulado-boston/visa/visa-general-information
The county I live in here in Florida has only tested 9 people so far. Many people do not think the virus is really a thing yet. We are having a large spike in "flu" cases though. They did not want to frighten away the tourists so officials keep everything open. . We even had an election on Tue...
I already canceled my upcoming trip to BA but saw this. It says Americans entering are subject to quarantine. https://www.batimes.com.ar/news/latin-america/argentina-colombia-to-isolate-travelers-from-virus-hit-nations.phtml Thank you for all the helpful posts.
I will be visiting BA for 60 days in april may and then 60 days in oct. nov. So I will reach 90 days at the end of october. What do I need to do at that point to avoid issues ? thanks.
Thanks I will have to purchase a broadband USB next time I am in Argentina. My internet connection at the apartment (telecom) was down about 20% of the time. I had a tech from the company come over. He said he fixed the problem but he went on the roof with no tools, said he found the problem...
As Lee mentioned, the Foreign Income Exemption is only applicable to income derived outside of the USA. If you live in Argentina, and received your income from the USA (salary, or self employed), there is no exemption.
Hi Sean
I am also from SD (mission beach). I have been here for a few weeks. I run my real estate business in CA remotely from anywhere I want to go, so work is not an issue for me, but I have talked to other expats who are leaving because they can't afford to live here on a low income.
So...
