    In some countries like Argentina and Chile, naturalized citizens of MERCOSUR nations need to wait 5 years before they can apply for the special temproary 2 year residency. Has anyone naturalized by chance moved to Uruguay within 5 years of doing so?

    They (migraciones there) told me that the ID document needs to say 'Argentino/a' and to make sure it's not something like 'Argentino naturalizado'

    Just wondering, or is it the same as with anyone else? Asking for the purposes of getting a 2 year MERCOSUR visa in Uruguay. They don't seem to have a 5 year limitation for naturalized citizens like Chile and Argentina does.

    totally agree, the big budget netflix series just don't accurately reflect things. I prefer the more authentic local productions through INCAA etc because you really see the same sort of stuff that you deal with yourself every day. it makes it much easier to connect to the story and characters.

    Yes, you need to get a certificate of domicile from the nearest police nation. This is a lot easier than it sounds, most cops will just write it up for you on the spot since they tend to trust foreigners.
