Any way to get US products here?

I use Aerolineas Courier. They have a PO BOX in Miami where you can send your stuff. Then you send them a copy of the bill and they will figure out the shipping cost plus custom duties, etc. You pay with PayPal or C Card, and they will ship the merchandise to your door. Precision manufacturing in Argentina

Regarding getting legal residence in Brazil (or anyplace in LA), the easiest way is to hire a local immigration lawyer. That, plus a bit of extra "oiling" money will get you anything here. Trying to do legally is nightmirish even for us Argentines, despite the fact that we are Brazil largest...

Yes, you are right, but I think that if Peking tries it anyway, it will get a mouthfull of plutonium, since it is almost for sure that they developed Atomic weapons long ago (in cooperation with Israel). But I agree that even in that case, it will not be a healthy place to be living, wars is...

    Precision manufacturing in Argentina

I do agree that doing business in LA is a tough endeavor. It would be easier, I think, if you could sell all those assets in Taiwan and then creating a local corp or business there, promising a substantial investment and new jobs, etc. Then you would buy an existing plant, add new...

Which passport to use when entering?

I believe that it depends on the year that the US passport was issued. In the late 70's the Arg goverment approved a new law demanding that from that on you need both passports when returning here. If you became a dual citizen before that date then you do not need the local passport.

As a civil engineer, I am familiar with some of the countries in the Ezeiza- Canning area. I could reccommned c.clubs like LAGOS DE CANNING, o San Eliseo. They are almost complete, but you can buy a good lot for about 45 Gs. Or buy a completed chalet for 200-300 Gs. They seem very safe, with...

New ARG banknotes will be printed with the faces of national heroes

I think that the real reason for new bank notes is that they run out of numbers and letters from the current notes, and they need an excuse for additional massive printing of more worthless paper notes.

Any experiences with Soc. Security Administration at the U S Embassy in BA?

They used to have an special window for US cits, retirees, etc. Since 2001, they do not deal directly with customers for security reasons. Still the consulate has a net page where you could ask for an appoitment, I think.
